Managing and sharing information

Drives are digital storage devices that help you store, manage, share, and access information. Your Sprout
has an internal hard drive that stores your personal files and your Sprout's software and operating system.
For added capacity or functionality, connect an external drive (purchased separately), such as an optical drive
or hard drive.
To quickly transfer information, connect a USB flash drive to the USB port on your Sprout, or insert the
memory card from your phone or camera into the memory card reader.
NOTE:
For more information about required software and drivers, or to learn which computer port to use,
see the manufacturer's instructions.
Using a USB device
Your Sprout has more than one type of USB port. See
USB ports on this Sprout. Be sure to purchase devices that are compatible with your Sprout.
