BATTERY
This is the device in the system that requires the
most frequent attention and the most thorough
maintenance. If the vehicle is not used for some
time (1 month or more) the battery needs to be re-
charged periodically. The battery runs down com-
pletely in the course of 3 months. If the battery is
fitted on a motorcycle, be careful not to invert the
connections, keeping in mind that the black ground
wire is connected to the negative terminal while the
red wire is connected to the terminal marked+.
TURN INDICATOR NOT WORKING
With the key switch set to "ON" jump the contacts
1 (Blue - Black) and 5 (Red/Blue) on the control
unit connector. If by operating the turn indicator
control the lights are not steadily on, replace the
control unit; otherwise, check the cable harness
