The electric motor has been designed for 230V and 240V only. Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate. Note: The supply of 230V and 240V on Ozito tools are interchangeable for Australia and New Zealand. -

Blade brake The Hedge Trimmer is fitted with a motor brake which will stop the cutting blade with 0.5 seconds as soon as either switch is released. Note: When the unit is switched off and the motor brake operates there may be some sparking (or flashing) visible in the area of the upper motor ventilation slots.

Side-trimming hedges Hold the Trimmer and begin at the bottom, sweep up (in this way the debris will fall away and not build up around the blades). Shaping The hedge should be trimmed to achieve a trapezoidal form, that is, it should widen toward the bottom at both sides. - Page 11 Always replace both carbon brushes at the same time.
