IMPORTANT REMINDERS • Any installation of this or any other Parmco Appliances hob must be carried out by a qualified technician and in accordance with the regulations in force relating to electric ceramic and induction hobs. • Check the hob for any damage that may have been caused during transport. Never install a damaged appliance. If you discover any damage, please contact Parmco Appliances. • Before connecting the appliance to the main power supply, make sure that the voltage and current indicated on the rating plate correspond to the characteristics of the power supply you will be using. The rating plate is located under the hob and must never be removed or damaged. • The electrical safety of this appliance is only guaranteed when it is connected to an electrical system fitted with an approved earth circuit. Make sure this fundamental safety requirement is observed. • This appliance must be installed by a qualified technician to all relevant New Zealand installation, wiring, and building regulatory codes. • Transformations or modifications to the appliance are not allowed. • Do not let children play with the appliance. • Never use the hob if the power cable is damaged. It may only be replaced by a qualified technician. • Do not insert or remove any plug from the socket with wet hands as you may receive an electric shock. • Never tug the cable when removing any plug from the main socket. • Repairs and maintenance may only be performed by a specialised personnel after first disconnecting the appliance from the main power supply. Incorrect repair may put users in serious danger. Always contact a specialised personnel for all repairs. • If any components should deteriorate, replace them only with original components.

Cut out the work surface according to the sizes shown in the drawing. For the purpose of installation and us e, a minimum of 5 cm space shall be preserved around the hole. Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 30mm. Please select heat-resistant work surface material to avoid larger deformation caused by the heat radiation from the hotplate.

Under any circumstances, make sure the ceramic cooker hob is well ventilated and the air inlet and outlet are not blocked. Ensure the ceramic cooker hob is in good working state. Note: The safety distance between the hotplate and the cupboard above the hotplate should be at least 650 mm.

Connecting the hob to the mains power supply The power supply should be connected in compliance with the relevant standard, or a single-pole circuit breaker.
