Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hotplate since they will get hot. If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance and contact Parmco Appliances. To avoid the possibility of electric shock do not continue to use a damaged hob.

CAUTIONS - READ CAREFULLY • Any installation of this or any other Parmco Appliances hob must be carried out by a qualified technician and in accordance with the regulations in force relating the electric ceramic and induction hobs. • Check the hob for any damage that may have been caused during transport. Never install a damaged appliance.
Standards and Regulatory Requirements with particular reference to the New Zealand Electrical Standards. Any attempt to install this or any other Parmco product without an authorised person could result in damage to the product and a possible health hazard. Not having an authorised person install this appliance may result in all associated warranties from Parmco Appliances being null and void.
Working Principle The HO-4 Parmco hob employs sophisticated microcomputer technology. This controls all aspects of the hobs heating and timing requirements. The heat resistant wiring ensures longevity, while the advanced heating technology provides all the benefits ceramic cooking can offer.
INSTALLATION 1. Cut a hole in the table surface according to the size shown in the drawing. For the purpose of installation and use, a minimum of 50mm space shall be preserved around the hole. Be sure the thickness of the table surface is at least 30mm.
CAUTIONS The ceramic hob must only be installed by a qualified technician. The hob shall not be mounted to cooling equipment, dishwashers and rotary dryers etc. To avoid any damage, the benchtop and adhesive must be made of suitable heat resistant properties. A steam cleaner is not to be used.

OPERATING YOUR HOB Timing function Cooking Timer Select one cooking zone by pressing the “-” or “+” of the corresponding heating zone. The cooking zones display light will now flash. Adjust timer by using the +/- buttons of the timer. After the timer indicator display has flashed for 5 seconds, the timer is confirmed.
