Before using your Ceramic Hob • Read this guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety Warnings’ section. • Remove any protective film that may still be on your ceramic hob. Note: you may notice a little smoke when you turn the hob on for the first time. The smoke is due to the manufacturing residues left on the hob.

Inserting and fixing the hob Before inserting the hob into the work surface, place the adhesive seal around the underside edge of the hob. It is important to fix the seal evenly without gaps, to prevent liquids from seeping underneath the hob. Turn the hob upside down (ensure the surface will not scratch the ceramic glass).
