Push Handle Airgap Faucet
Determine the most practi cal under-the-sink locati on for placement of the
WaterMaker Five system. Ensure that the locati on allows adequate access for
cartridge re placement.
1. Place the system in the selected locati on.
2. Place the escutcheon (1) and rubber seal (2) fl ush against the base of the
faucet.
3. Insert faucet base assembly down through the sink hole.
4. From underneath the sink, push the 1/4" black drain tubing att ached to the
system onto the 1/4" fi tti ng located on the faucet base.
5. Locate the extra piece of 3/8" white tubing and push one end onto the larger
3/8" fi tti ng located on the faucet base.
(1) Escutcheon
6. Slide white plasti c spacer (3) open-end-up onto the threaded faucet stem.
(2) Rubber seal
7. Loosely thread the 3/8" washer (4) and mounti ng lock nut (5) onto the
threaded stem.

8. Thread faucet quick-connect adapter (6) on to threads of faucet stem. NOTE:
This connecti on should be hand-ti ghtened only. Push end of 3/8" blue tubing
(3) Plasti c spacer
(located on the system) onto 3/8" adapter.

9. Positi on the faucet to the desired handle orientati on. Slip the (7) slott ed
lock nut
washer between the white plasti c spacer and the sink. Securely hand ti ghten
the mounti ng nut.
(6) Quick connect
adapter
10. Firmly insert spout assembly into the top hole of faucet body (approximately
1/4"). You may swivel the faucet left or right.
