Changing the Harness Position on
an Embrace without A-Lock
As your child grows, you will need to change the harness
strap position so they are routed through the slots
closest to the child's shoulders. The shoulder harness
straps should
ALWAYS
be as close as possible to, but
NEVER
above the child's shoulders.

Pull the harness strap from the back of the carrier
while pushing the chest clip, buckle tongue, harness
anchor and harness strap through to the back.
Push the harness
anchor
located
on the bottom of
the carrier through
the slot to the
front of the seat
shell. Repeat this
procedure on both
sides.
Pull the harness
strap and anchor
to the front of the
seat shell. Repeat
this procedure on
the opposite side.

It's easiest
to do this step
when you place
the carrier in
your lap.

When
pushing the
harness assembly
through a slot, lead
with the harness
anchor, then buckle
tongue, with the
chest clip going
through last.
Choose the appropriate slots for the new harness
position. Push the harness anchor, buckle tongue, and
harness strap and chest clip through to the front of
the carrier.

Pull the harness
anchor, harness
strap, buckle tongue,
and chest clip to the
front of the carrier.
Push the harness
anchor through the
pad to the bottom of
the carrier.
Pull the harness
anchor through the
bottom of the carrier,
and clip into place.
Repeat on the
opposite side.
