7. Tighten the tensioner bolts to the speci-
fied torque.
Tensioner bolt 0:
39 N·m (3.9 kgf·m, 28 ft·lb)
8. Turn the drive sprocket two turns, and
then check that the alignment marks are
aligned.
CAUTION:
Do not turn the sprockets counterclock-
wise, otherwise the valve system may be
damaged.
9. Tighten the driven sprocket bolt 2 to the
specified torque.

10. Tighten the drive sprocket nut 6 to the
specified torque, and then install the
breather hose.

NOTE:
• Use a deep socket A (M46) for this proce-
dure.
• Install the timing belt, and then tighten the
drive sprocket nut 6 so that the drive
sprocket and the driven sprocket do not
move out of the TDC position.
