The KanexPro 1x8 VGA extender over a single CAT5e/6 cable is designed for routing and distributing
four high-resolution VGA signals and stereo audio over remote distances up to 1,000ft (300m) Each
receiver set features a separate gain and peaking rotary switch used in adjusting brightness and skew
over long distances The 15-pin HD connectors are convenient and cost-effective for all input/ output
connections supporting full bandwidth Fully compatible with VGA to WUXGA graphics cardresolution
and HDTV's to projectors In addition, each output performs a separate buffering to maintain signal
integrity and reject noise interference
 
Features:
• Extend eight independent high-resolution VGA signals with audio over Cat5E/6 cables up to
1,000 feet (300m)
• Adjust GAIN and PEAK levels to adapt for variable lengths of UTP cable on the receiver side
• Supports maximum resolutions up to WUXGA (1920x1200@60Hz)
• Stereo audio through 3.5mm jack
• Dual output for transmitter: VGA for local display and 8 x Cat5e/6
• EDID Compliant
• Rack or under-desk mountable
• 5VDC external power supply included

    Connection and Operation Connect VGA source(PC, laptop, etc) and the 3 5mm audio cable to the VGA and stereo audio input of the VGA Extender Tx unit 2) Connect CAT5 output from the Tx to the VGA Extender Rx unit using a UTP Cat5e/6 cable. Plug local VGA display to the VGA Output and Audio Out on the Tx unit 4) Connect VGA display(Monitor, Projector, etc) to the VGA output on the Rx unit as well as the audio out to the display 5) Add power supplies to the Tx and Rx units.
