☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
☑ MTU Preservation and Represervation Specifications (A001070/..) are available.

Task
Depreserve (→ Preservation and Represervation Specifications A001070/..).
Check engine oil level (→ Page 211);
Preheat engine oil if required.
Prime with fuel (→ Page 199)
Align adjustable pointer with position of pressure indicator (→ Page 194).
Only for engines without oil priming pump:
Fill HP fuel pump with new engine oil (→ Page 180).
Prime with water (approx. 3 – 4 l).
If engine is out of service for more than one year, change engine coolant
(→ Page 227).
Check coolant level (→ Page 226).
Preheat coolant with preheating unit.
Refer to automation system operating instructions.
Check plug connections (→ Page 251).
