ADJUSTMENTS

3.16 LIFT CYLINDERS __________________________________________________________

1. Fully extend the front cylinder, then check spacing at
the cam roller (U). The dimension should be 7/16 to
9/16 in. (11.1 to 14.2 mm).
2. Loosen nut (V) then grip the very end of the cylinder
rod, close to the adjusting nut (point W) and turn
until spacing is correct. Tighten nut (V).
3. Loosen nut (X) on the rear lift cylinder. Adjust the rod
end (Y) until the lift arm (O) just touches the stop
bracket when the cylinder is fully retracted.

3.17 SPECIFIC TORQUE REQUIREMENTS _________________________________________

1. Ball joints: 30 - 35 ft. lb., (40.5 - 47.2 N.m).
2. Bedknife shoe: 25 - 37 ft. lb., (34 - 50 N.m).
3. Brake drum and hub to wheel motor: 90 - 100 ft. lb.,
(122 - 135 N.m).
4. Steering wheel nut 25-30 ft. lb., (34-41 N.m).
5. Steering cylinder ball joints (2): 50 - 55 ft. lb., (67.5 -
74.2 N.m).
6. Wheel mounting hardware 65 - 85 ft. lb., (88 - 115
N.m). Check and retorque daily until torque is
maintained.
7. Engine drain plug 22 ft. lb., (29.7 N.m).
