4 Permanent settings in programming mode

In the program item 'Machine settings (3/5)'
you can make the following settings:

'Filter'
U
Activate the CLEARYL Blue filter cartridge (see Chapter 5
'Maintenance – Inserting and activating the filter').
U
'Water hardness'
U
If you do not have a filter cartridge, you will need to set the
water hardness (see Chapter 4 'Permanent settings in pro-
gramming mode – Setting the water hardness').
U
'Switch-on rinse'
U
The switch-on rinse must be started manually.
U
'Switch-on rinse'
U
The switch-on rinse is started automatically.
U
'Rinse the milk system'
U
You are prompted to rinse the milk system 10 minutes after
preparation of a specialty coffee with milk.
U
'Rinse the milk system'
U
You are prompted to rinse the milk system immediately
after preparation of a specialty coffee with milk.
U
'Rinse the milk system'
U
Milk system rinsing is automatically initiated 10 minutes
after preparation of a specialty coffee with milk.
U
'Rinse the milk system'
U
Milk system rinsing is automatically initiated approx. 30 sec-
onds after preparation of a specialty coffee with milk.
Example: Proceed as follows to make the machine prompt you to
rinse the milk system immediately after preparing a specialty coffee
with milk.
