Mounting the Battery Box (continued)


This fireplace includes a battery box that must be installed in an accessible location. The battery box
has a switch for turning the fireplace on, off, or to remote. It also has a button for synchronizing the
remote to the fireplace.

The 12' (3.5M) long battery box wire exits the fireplace on the left side.

Install the battery box m in a location that may be reached by the 12' (3.5M) long battery box wire..
This location box must be accessible after installation.

Route the battery box harness through the back of a junction box and secure the wire with 3" to 6" of
slack.

Attach the battery box wire to the back of the battery box. Then secure the battery box to the
junction box with the included screws. Attach the cover plate to the battery box to finalize the
installation.

The battery box wire is shipped secured to the side of the fireplace.
Caution: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause
improper and dangerous operation. Verify proper operation after servicing.
