Console on R-20-F is reading "Connecting" and none of the buttons work

If the console on the Vision Fitness R20 is reading "Connecting" and none of the buttons work, follow these steps:

1. Verify the power adaptor is correct (12V - 2A) and test it on a known good outlet. Replace it if defective.
2. Check the console cable connection at the console. Unplug it and use a multimeter to check for 12VDC through the cable. If no voltage is present, replace the console cable.
3. If 12VDC is present through the cable, the console is defective and should be replaced.
