Press the EDIT button to enter the input title.
Press the 5 (eject) button.
• The TOC data is written and the disc is ejected.
• When TOC writing starts, the "
" indicator flashes. Do not shake the main unit or unplug the power
cord while the TOC is being written. If the data is not recorded properly, it will not be possible to play the

disc.
• The TOC data can also be recorded by performing the following operations:
• Pressing the power button to set the power to the standby mode.
• In the stop mode, press the
(stop) button.

• To erase a character, move the cursor to that character then press the CLEAR button.
• To correct a character, first erase it, then input the correct character.
• It is not possible to write "/" two or more times in a row.
(2) Erasing disc titles
q Perform steps 1 and 2 under "(1) Adding disc titles".
w Display " Disc N. Erase? " at step 3.
e Press the jog dial on the main unit or the ENTER button on the remote control unit. " Complete " is displayed.
r Perform step 7.
• When " All N. Erase? " is displayed and the ENTER button is pressed at step w above, the disc title and all
the track titles are erased at once.
NOTE:
• Group information is actually written to a disc title information storage area.
If you want to keep the group information don't use above mentioned "(2) Erasing disc titles".

In the stop mode, either turn the jog dial on the main unit or use the automatic search buttons (

on the remote control unit to display the track number.
Press the EDIT button.

• " Edit Mode " is displayed.
• In the play, pause or recording modes, press the EDIT button to give a title to the current track.

control unit to display " Tr Name In? ".
Press the ENTER button.

• The cursor flashes, indicating the title input standby mode.
Input the title.

have been input up to that point are no longer valid.
• Characters input in the recording pause mode are cleared when the

• Up to 100 characters can be input for each track, disc and guoup title. " Name Full " is displayed if you attempt
to input a 101st character.
• If the title operation is performed with a disc containing titles with over 100 characters input on another MiniDisc
recorded, the characters over the 100th character are erased.
• A total of approximately 1700 characters can be input for all disc, group and track titles. " Name
displayed if you attempt to input more characters.

q Perform steps 1 and 2 under "(3) Adding track titles".
w Display " TrName Erase? " at step 3.
e Press the jog dial on the main unit or the ENTER button on the remote control unit. " Complete " is displayed.
