Dual Rate steering wheel function
Quick Proportional Adjustment
Steering travel can be adjusted quickly and proportionally
(Proportional Dual Rate) while the car is running, using
rocker button B to reduce the travel (RATE STG). The
set value (Multi-Rate) can be adjusted within the range
125% to 50% to meet the requirements of the moment.
The first essential step is to set the basic value for steering
servo travel in the Setup Menu EPA ST. The factory
default value in the Setup Menu EPA ST is 100%, but it
can be set to any value within the range 125% to 0%.
The Direct RATE quick function RATE STG is
automatically called up when you operate rocker button
B. Rocker button B is used to adjust the steering travel
quickly (Proportional Dual Rate) during a race, and
enables the driver to adjust the car to suit the
requirements and conditions of the track.

Selecting steering servo travel EPA ST
1. The first essential action is to select maximum servo
steering travel EPA ST to suit the model. This
adjustment is made in the Setup Menu EPA ST.
2. Switch the transmitter ON, then press the MODE button
repeatedly to reach the menu point EPA ST, EPA TH
or EPA AUX.
3. Press the CHANNEL button in the Setup Menu to
select EPA ST for the steering servo.
4. Adjust the travel of the steering servo to suit the model
using the INC+ or DEC- buttons.

B. This automatically activates the RATE STG menu
(Proportional Dual Rate) and displays it on the screen.

2. The appropriate servo steering travel RATE STG (Mul-
ti-Rate) can be adjusted quickly and proportionally
during a race using rocker button B.
This value refers to the servo end-point travel you
have already selected in the Set-up Menu EPA ST,
where you select the basic travel using the INC+ or
DEC- buttons.
3. When you release rocker button B, the transmitter
reverts automatically to the base display after about
two seconds.
