 Always keep the hands out of the path of the sander and away from the
sanding sleeve. Avoid hand positions where a sudden slip could cause the
hand to move into the spindle. Do not reach underneath the workpiece or
around the sanding sleeve while the spindle is rotating.
 When not in use and while changing the table inserts, sanding sleeves,
rubber drums or other accessory, disconnect the power cable from mains.
After switching off, disconnect the machine from mains.
 Wait for the spindle to stop rotating before performing maintenance. Never
try to stop the spindle by hand.
 Make sure there are no nails or other foreign objects in the area of the
workpiece to be sanded.
 Use only original replacement parts when servicing the spindle sander.
 Do not disassemble the machine and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
