The PowerLab can use SCSI or USB, whether built-in or via a card, to
communicate with the computer. SCSI (small computer system
interface) provides data transfer rates of up to 4 MB per second on
fast computers. The lower-speed USB (universal serial bus) provides
data transfer rates of up to 500 kB per second.
