TROUBLE SHOOTING AND SOLUTION

Functional fault
Insuffi cient material
discharge
Poor spray
pattern
Valve rod leaks (Paint- or
air path)
Spray gun will not shut-off

Select larger nozzle
Clean or replace fi lter
Nozzle cleaning
Replace valve rod
Readjust atomizing air
Select smaller nozzle
Thin material in accordance
with the manufacturer's
instructions
Nozzle cleaning
Readjust the atomizing air
Clean or replace air cap
Replace as required aircap
(solvent / water based)
Adjust or replace packing or
replace valve stem complete
Re tighten sealing screw
Replace parts
Replace the seals
