GLOSSARY
Aspect ratio
Width and height ratio of an image. The aspect ratio of
ordinary computer monitors and TV screens is 4:3. The
aspect ratio for wide screens ranges from 16:9 to 21:9.
Black level
The level of brightness in black areas or the absence of
light, which incidentally is black.
For NTSC of the US, it is 7.5IRE.
NORMAL: 16 (Black) to 235 (White)
For NTSC in Japan, it is 0IRE.
EXPAND: 0 (Black) to 246 (White).
Color temperature
Hue of white light. An image of low color temperature has
a warm feeling (more yellow and red). An image of high
color temperature has a cold feeling (more blue).

A/D converter (Analog/Digital signal converter)
With this projector, all video signals are digitally processed
by an A/D converter. The A/D converter converts analog
video signals into data that supports digital processing.
