PC Card Assembly

Follow these steps to remove the PC card assembly.
1. Remove the LCD panel, keyboard, heat plate, top cover, audio board, I/O board, diskette
drive, Kensington lock latch, and main board from the system.
2. Turn the main board over.
3. Remove both memory modules, if present.
Locate and remove the four screws that secure the PC card assembly to the main board.

5. Disconnect the PC card assembly from connector P2 on the main board and remove the
assembly.
Reassembly
Reassembly is the reverse of the disassembly process. Use care to insure that all cables and
screws are returned to their proper positions.
Only touch the CPU on the sides. Do not touch the top of the die.
