Connectors

The Gigabit-SX Transceiver transmits at 850 nm wavelength, and is
compatible with the IEEE 802.3z Gigabit-SX standard. It accepts the multi-
mode fiber-optic cables for Gigabit-SX described on page 8.
The Gigabit-LX Transceiver transmits at 1300 nm wavelength, and is
compatible with the IEEE 802.3z Gigabit-LX standard. It accepts the single-
mode or multimode fiber-optic cables for Gigabit-LX described on page 8.
The Gigabit Stacking Transceiver has a proprietary connector. It
accepts the 1/2-meter shielded twisted-pair cable that is shipped in the HP
Gigabit Stacking Kit (HP J4116A), as described on page 8.
A 10-meter cable has also been tested and verified. The cable is AMP part
number 627124-1.
