Connecting to the Console Port

The RJ-45 serial port on the front panel is used to connect to the switch for out-of-band console
configuration. The on-board configuration program can be accessed from a terminal or a PC
running a terminal emulation program.
The pin assignments used to connect to the serial port are provided in
Table 12: Serial Cable Wiring

Ensure that PS1 and PS2 LEDs on the 7210 SAS-T front panel are lit if both the primary
and the redundant power supply has been plugged in.
If only one of the power supplies is plugged in, either PS1 or PS2 will be lit. PS1 will
