· Battery Pack
Your RDA features a long-life, rechargeable, lithium-ion battery pack. The battery pack will provide
45 days standby, 60 hours continual usage.
· Battery Clip
The battery clip attached to your RDA is designed to protect against unintentional battery removal.
To remove the battery clip simply insert two small flat head screwdrivers, one above the clip to
push it down, the other under the side of the clip to lever it up and away from your RDA.
· Communications and Charging Connector
Connects your RDA to the cradle or communications cable, which in turn connects to the back of
your desktop computer and to the wall current through the AC adapter.
This allows you to recharge your Meazura™ MEZ1000 RDA as well as update the information
between your RDA and your desktop computer using HotSync technology.
The cradle or communications cable must be plugged into the serial or USB (COM) port at the back
of your desktop computer.
Serial Connection
Your RDA requires a dedicated port. It cannot share a port with an internal modem or other device.
If you are unsure about the exact location of the serial or USB port on your desktop computer,
