The backlight button is also used to launch the screen contrast control. Press and
hold the backlight button for about 1.5 seconds until the contrast slider appears on
the RDA screen. Use the stylus to drag the contrast slider to the desired contrast and
then tap Done. To fine tune the contrast, you can use the up and down directional
arrow buttons.
· Center Button
The center button is a user configurable button. It can be used as a quick start
button for any application loaded onto your RDA. To configure the center button, tap
on the 'Prefs' application from the main screen. From the pick list on the upper right
of the screen, choose 'Buttons'. Next to the center button icon of this screen is
another pick list, displaying your presently installed applications. Simply choose your
application from this list to assign it to the center button.
The center button is assigned by default to switch application categories.
· Directional Arrow Buttons
The four directional arrow buttons can be used for vertical and horizontal scrolling on
palm software applications that allow scrolling. For more information on how to scroll,
refer to the specific documentation on each palm software application.
NOTE
Horizontal scrolling is not used in the standard palm applications that ship with your Meazura™
MEZ1000 RDA. Standard palm applications included with your Meazura™ MEZ1000 RDA are;
Address Book, Date Book, Expense, Memo Pad and To Do List.
· Touch Sensitive Screen
Displays the applications and data stored in your RDA. It is touch-sensitive and
responds to stylus contact. To protect your screen against scratching, we recommend
using screen protectors.
· Graffiti Pad
Write letters and numbers in this area using the Graffiti® 2 alphabet. For information

Home Icon
Tapping on the Home icon will return you to the Applications Launcher screen, viewing
the last category you had open. Tapping this icon repeatedly will switch application
categories also available from the pick list in the Application Launcher.
Options Icon
Tapping on the Options icon will open the Menu Bar, located at the top of your screen.
From this Menu Bar you can manage your applications and data by setting various
options and preferences as well as performing standard copy/paste actions. For more
