It is important to maintain your RDA.
The Meazura™ MEZ1000 RDA is dustproof and waterproof to IP67 standards, but it must be kept as
clean as possible. This will help avoid possible accidents occuring or damage being done to the
Meazura™ MEZ1000, especially when connecting or operating the RDA near other electrical
equipment.
Always keep the RDA free from hazardous substances, dirt, debris, and submergence in liquid.
A list of recommended practises for maintaining the RDA are covered in this chapter along with thoses
that should be avoided.

Environmental Factors

Storage Conditions
Store the RDA in a cool dry place.
Operating Conditions
While operating the RDA please ensure it is free of moisture, particularly when operating around
electrical equipment. The Meazura™ MEZ1000 is waterproof and dustproof to IP67 standards and can
be operated in most environmental conditions. We do not however, recommend the RDA be operated
in extreme conditions (e.g. Underwater for long periods, in extreme hot and cold environments, or at
extreme altitude).

saline solutions. The Meazura™ MEZ1000 is not resistant to bases, aromatics, ketones, esters,
chlorinated hydrocarbons and some greases and oils.
Bayblend FR 2000 is noted for the properties, of toughness, stiffness, heat resistance and is flame
