Verify the following installation requirements: • Power requirements: SP508C: 15VDC 800mA. SP508D: 100-240 VAC ( 10%) at 50 to 60 Hz ( 3Hz). • The hub should be located in a cool dry place, with at least 10 cm.

Notes: 1. Make sure each twisted-pair cable does not exceed 100 meters (328 feet). 2. The Category 5 cables are used for all Fast Ethernet connections. 3. The port 8 can serve as daisy-chain port (via the MDI RJ-45 port). Use normal RJ45 cable. Plug one end of the cable into MDI port 8 of the hub and plug the other end of the cable into any port of the other switch.
