Playing in random order
(Shuffle Play)
You can have the receiver "shuffle" tracks
and play them in random order. Subsequent
"shuffling" may produce a different playing
order.

In play mode, press PLAY MODE
repeatedly until "SHUFFLE" appears
on the front panel display.
To return to normal play
In play mode, press PLAY MODE.
Notes
• Shuffle Play is cancelled when:
– you open or close the disc tray
– you turn the power off
– you change the function
• You may not be able to do Shuffle Play depending
on the DVD.

Repeating sections
between two specific
points (A-B repeat)
You can play a specific portion of a title or
track repeatedly. This function is useful
when you want to do such things as
memorize lyrics.

Press REPEAT A–B during play at the
point where repeat play is to start (A).

You can select "OFF" at this step by
pressing CLEAR.

Press REPEAT A–B during play at
the point where repeat play is to
be concluded (B).
Repeat play of the selection between
points A and B starts.

To return to normal play
Press REPEAT A-B, "A-B" display
disappears in the display window and
"OFF" is displayed on the TV screen.
To cancel Repeat Play
Press x.
To return to repeat play (not A-B)
Press REPEAT.
Note
• A-B repeat play works only within a title (DVD) or
a track (CD).
