Note:
The camera's internal clock does not maintain accurate time
settings, and should be periodically checked to ensure that
the time is accurate. If your computer's clock is synced to a
network time source, you can update your D300 by using
Camera Date and Time in Camera Control Pro 2.0 and
pressing the Use Current Date/Time button.

Setting Language

The D300 can display menus on the color LCD in fourteen
languages: Chinese (both traditional and simplified), Dutch,
English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean,
Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. If you've
purchased an official import of the D300 (i.e. not a gray

model), it should already be set to the appropriate
language.
If you'd like to change the camera's displayed language:

1. Press the MENU button to show the menu system.
2. Use the Direction pad to navigate to the SETUP menu
(the wrench icon tab) and press the > key on the
Direction pad to select it.

Gray market products are those that are brought into a country by someone other
than the official importer. Nikon's warranties only apply to officially imported
cameras. In the US, especially, Nikon is particularly careful to only repair officially
imported cameras.
