Changing the name of a handset

The names "INT 1", "INT 2" etc. are assigned automatically on registration. You can
change these names. The name must be no longer than 10 characters. The changed
name is displayed in every handset's list.

Changing a handset's internal number

A handset is automatically assigned the lowest free internal number from 1–6 dur-
ing registration. If all numbers are in use, then the number 6 is overwritten as long
as this handset is in idle status. You can change the internal numbers of all regis-
tered handsets (1–6).

You will hear the error tone if an internal number has been assigned twice.

Select handset.
Open menu.
Enter the name.
Press the display key.
Open the list of handsets. Your own handset is indicated by <.
