Setting the Scanning Conditions for Each Page

When you want to send multi-page originals by placing them on the original glass, you can change the
following scanning conditions for each page:
Resolution
Image quality mode Original size
This function is convenient for newspapers and books because the 2-page spread can be placed on the

original glass and sent.

Place the original on the glass.
- "When Setting Originals on the Glass"

Press the [FAX] button on the control
panel.

Press the [OPTION] button and set the
transmission conditions.

Specify the remote Fax.
- Specifying by digital keys "Direct Entry with Digital Keys"

- Specifying by address book "Address Book Entry"
- Specifying by group "Group Entry"
- Specifying by multi-address transmission "Multi-address
Transmission"

Press the [START] button.
- The first original is scanned.

Place the next original.

Select the [OPTION] button and set the
transmission conditions for the second
original as required.
- The changeable scanning conditions for each page are the
"RESOLUTION", "MODE", "EXPOSURE" and "ORIGINAL".

Press the [START] button.
- The second original is scanned.
- If there is another original to be scanned, repeat steps 5 through
7.
Be sure to carry out the operations within 45 seconds after the "To
continue place document on glass, and press START" appears. If
the equipment is inactive for 45 seconds, the scanned original is
sent.
