Removing an optical drive
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Remove the front bezel
4.
Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the back of the optical drive (1).
CAUTION:
damaging the cable.
5.
Remove the two Torx screws that secure the drive to the computer (2), and then slide the drive out of
the drive bay (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the optical drive.
