Check the stator coil.

Check the main switch.
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM".
NO CONTINUITY
OK
Check the passenger grip warmers.
NO CONTINUITY
OK
Check the passenger grip warmer switch.
NO CONTINUITY
OK
Check the passenger grip warmer relay.
FAULTY
OK
Check the load control relay.
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM".
FAULTY
OK
Check the grip warmer system's wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
FAULTY
OK
Correct the connection and/or replace the rectifier/
regulator and/or ignitor unit.
GRIP WARMER SYSTEM
Replace the main fuse, ignition fuse, and/or signal
fuse.
Replace and/or charge the battery.
Refer to "BATTERY INSPECTION" in CHAPTER
2.
Replace the stator coil assembly.
Replace the main switch.
Replace the passenger grip warmer(s).
Replace the passenger grip warmer switch.
Replace the passenger grip warmer relay.
Replace the load control relay.
Properly connect or repair the grip warmer sys-
tem's wiring.
