SECONDARY SHAFT
3. Tighten:
• Drive sprocket nut 3
Drive sprocket nut:
90 Nm (9.0 m · kg, 65 ft · lb)
NOTE:
While holding the secondary shaft with the second-
ary shaft slide & holder 4, tighten the drive
sprocket nut with the drive gear socket 5.
Drive gear socket:
90890-01490, YS-01490
Secondary shaft slide & holder:
90890-01492, YS-01492
4. Install:
• Collar 6
NOTE:
®
Apply LOCTITE
to the collar as shown.
5. Install:
• Secondary shaft slide & holder 7
NOTE:
• This procedure does not require the use of the
collar 8 included with the special tool.
• Install the end a of the secondary shaft slide &
holder 7 to the engine.
CAUTION:
Contact the secondary shaft slide & holder only
with the inner race of the bearing.
