Marine Head with Holding Tank

Check with local authorities for regulations regarding the legal use of marine head systems.

Electric Head

• Read the marine head
operation and mainte-
nance manual before
using the marine head
for the first time.
• The holding tank is
plumbed to a waste fit-
ting on the deck for
dockside pump-out.
• Check the content level
of the holding tank by
looking at the side of
the tank.
• Empty the holding tank
at every opportunity.

Winterizing The Marine Head

1. Shut Off the intake seacock, and pump the head until the bowl is dry.
2. Remove the drain plug in the base and pump again to remove all of the water.
• Do not fill the bowl with anti-freeze.
• Close the intake seacock while the yacht is underway or whenever the yacht is left moored in the water.
