Vacuum Flush Head & Holding Tank
Check with local authorities for regulations regarding the legal use of marine head systems.
• Read the vacuum flush head's operation and maintenance manual.
• The vacuum flush head system uses freshwater from the freshwater tank and a vacuum pump to flush waste from
the toilet into the holding tank.
• Check the holding tank content level often by looking at the holding tank monitoring gauge (for the location of the
monitoring gauge, see the Component Locations section in Chapter 2 of this supplement).
• The holding tank is plumbed to a fitting on the deck for dockside pump-out.
• Empty the holding tank at every opportunity.
