MAKING IN-WALL CONNECTIONS

Using the MCX-C15 and MCX-CA15
Use this configuration method if you want to use the MCX-CA15 as a companion to the MCX-C15. This
configuration also allows you to control YAMAHA AV receivers connected to the MCX-CA15 from the
MCX-C15's remote control using YAMAHA AV link technology.
In this configuration, the MCX-CA15 supplies power to the MCX-C15.
CAUTIONS
Complete all other connections before connecting to a live power source.
Be sure to set the MODE switch on the inside front panel of the MCX-CA15 to "A" before
connecting to a live power source.

Connect the AV OUT terminal on the MCX-C15 to the AV IN terminal on the MCX-CA15 using the supplied
CAT-5 cable. Connect the LAN terminal on the MCX-C15 to a hub or router using a commercially available
CAT-5 cable.
