Operate your MusicCAST server to create playlists from the
bookmarks of the MusicCAST server or MusicCAST clients.
The setup menu has been separated into two menus (auto/man-
ual) to improve ease of use. Also, you can now switch between
12-hour and 24-hour time display formats.
Reset song statistics, network settings, or Function key assign-
ments individually.
Edit tuner preset station names displayed on the MusicCAST
server connected to a controllable Yamaha AV receiver
The PCM client setting screen shows the list of client names for
easy selection. Formerly, you had to select a PCM playback cli-
ent by its ID number. (PCM client setting: see page 125 of the
MCX-1000 Owner's Manual)
The MusicCAST server displays a pop up completion screen
when CD storing or creation is complete, and a pop up selection
screen when the MusicCAST server finds more than one rele-
vant entry in the Gracenote CDDB database while retrieving
album information. These screens are displayed even when you
are using other functions. (CD storing: see page 24 of the MCX-

MCX-1000 Owner's Manual)
Press any button other than SELECT on the MusicCAST client
to light up the display panel when it is in sleep mode. This fea-
ture is useful when checking the clock in the dark. (Sleep mode:
see page 63 of the MCX-A10 Owner's Manual)
