Starting Broadcast

Press BROADCAST on the MusicCAST server remote control. When
the message "Broadcast ON?" appears on the display, use u/d to
select a MusicCAST client.

Press SELECT to check/uncheck the target client selection
checkbox.
The MusicCAST server targets MusicCAST clients with checked selection boxes
for Broadcast.
Repeat this step to change settings for other MusicCAST clients.

Use the u/j/d/i keys to select "OK" and press the SELECT key.
Broadcast starts on the MusicCAST server and the selected MusicCAST clients.

After Broadcast starts, select songs for playback on the MusicCAST server using
the standard selection procedures (see page 30 of the MCX-1000 owner's
manual).

the Play Information
screen
You can also start Broadcast by
selecting "Broadcast" from the
Sub Menu of the Play Information
screen, then carrying out steps 4
and 2, 3 from the procedure on
this page.
Setting default target
MusicCAST clients
You can preset specific
MusicCAST clients to target for
Broadcast (see page 9).
Note
You cannot start Broadcast
from the "Recording", "Timer
Setup", or "System Setup"
screens.
Starting Broadcast turns off the
Timer functions of the
MusicCAST server and
MusicCAST clients. The Timer
functions do not return to their
previous state when you stop
Broadcast. Please reset these
functions to suit your needs.
You cannot use the MusicCAST
client to playback a signal from
an external input on the
MusicCAST server when the
MusicCAST server is in
Broadcast mode.
To cancel the Broadcast
selection process.
Press BACK, or move the cursor
to "Cancel" and press the
SELECT key, to return to the
previous screen.
