Dial, edit or delete a directory
Using the telephone base:
1. Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review the directory or
3-character alphabetical search on pages 82 or 83).
2. When the desired entry appears, press
EDIT NUMBER.
3. Use the dialing keys to edit the number.
Press DELETE/X to erase a digit.

• Press and hold DELETE/X to erase all digits.
• Press CID or DIR to move the cursor to the right or left.
• Press and hold
Press NEXT.

5. Press CID or DIR to highlight one of the following types:
• Home
• Cell
• Work
• Other
6. Press NEXT. The screen displays EDIT NAME.
7. Use the dialing keys (see page 79) to edit the name.
Press DELETE/X to erase a character.

• Press and hold DELETE/X to erase all
• Press CID
SAVE to confirm and the handset shows Saved.
8. Press
/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).
REDIAL
or DIR to move the cursor to the left or right.
EDIT . The telephone base shows
characters.
