Possible cause and solution
There is an internal fault.
^ Disconnect the machine from the electricity supply by
pulling the plug of the coffee machine from the outlet or
turning off the mains fuse.
The system lock feature has been activated.
^ You need to deactivate the system lock (see "Settings -
System lock").
The coffee system was not used after being turned on three
times in a row automatically.
^ Turn the machine on and dispense a drink.
The display brightness has been set too low.
^ Change this setting (see "Settings - Display brightness").
The water tank is not sitting properly in the appliance.
^ Remove the water container and replace it.
The water container was not correctly filled and refitted for
descaling.
^ Fill the water container to the descaling symbol F and
restart the descaling program.
The coffee system needs to be descaled.
^ Turn the coffee machine off with the On/Off - button. Wait
approx. 1 hour.
^ Then turn the machine on again. As soon as "Heating-up
phase" appears in the display, touch x and select
"Descale the appliance".
^ Descale the coffee system.
