Normal playback

Some preparatory steps are needed before starting playback.
POWER ON/STANDBY

Turning on the receiver
1 Turn on the power to the related components.
2 Turn on the power to this receiver by pressing the

Selecting the input mode
If you have selected a component connected to the COAX 1 (DVD),
COAX 2 (VIDEO 1), OPT 1 (VIDEO 2), OPT 2 (AUX) or DIGITAL IN
(OPTICAL) jacks, make sure that the input mode setting is correct for the
type of audio signal to be used.

Listening to a source component

Press the INPUT SELECTOR key (or the Input selector keys/
DVD, VID1, VID2, AUX, F.AUX, Game, TUNER, Network Server
or Memory Card) to select the source.

6 "F.AUX"
7 "AUX"
8 "NET SERVER"
9 "MEMORY CARD"
÷ When the "NET SERVER" or "MEMORY CARD" input is
selected, the OSD function on the TV screen is activated and
detection of the server starts.

Start playback from the selected source.

Use the VOLUME CONTROL knob (or the VOL +/- keys) to
adjust the volume.
