Calling by Phonebook

You can call a person using his/her phone
number that you have registered in the
Phonebook.

Display the Hands-Free Control screen
See <Making a call> (page 52).

Select the name to call

2 Displays the Phonebook beginning with the
name whose first character you have touched.

appears, the text display is
scrolled by touching it.

Select the phone number to call

Make a call
To use the Phonebook, it must have been downloaded
from the cell-phone. For more details, see the instruction
manual of your Bluetooth Unit and your cell-phone.
Initials including no corresponding name will not be
displayed.
During search, a non-accent character such as "u" is
searched for instead of an accent character such as "ü".
For DNX9140 only:
Some icons and buttons will not appear.

Calling by Entering a Phone Number

Makes a call by entering a phone number.

Enter a phone number

1 Enters the desired phone number using the
keypad.
[Clear] Clears the number.

Make a call
Press the green phone icon to dial the entered
phone number.
You can input up to 32 digits.
