5. Press the [ENT] key. The display should look something like the one below.

6. Press [→]. The display for entry of comment appears.
7. Enter comment (max. 10 alphanumeric characters) as follows:
a) Use the trackball to display desired character in reverse video.
b) Press the [ENT] key.
c) Repeat steps a) and b) to complete the comment.
d) Operate the trackball to place the highlight on Enter.
e) Press the [ENT] key.
8. Press the [ENT] key.
9. Press the [WPT ENTRY] key to close the menu.
The waypoint is registered with the latitude and longitude position selected by the +cursor. A red
07 (default waypoint color) inside an octagon marks the waypoint location on the display. For
further details see Chapter 5.
To switch to a different method of waypoint entry, press [MENU], [4], [1]. For further details see
paragraph 5.1.
