The Convergence feature gives
you
nxore control over the picture's
convergence than the FIash Focus feature, allowing you to fine&me the
convergence.
I Press MENU to displ.ay the Menta.
i" Move the joystick ,+ or + to highlight the Setup icon Cand press
QJ.
'3 I a Move the joystick to highlight ~~oI~~/~~~~I~c~ and press 0.
A pattern ol: white crosses appears, with a yellow : 1 around one
of the crosses. Aligned crosses (which do not need adj~stl~e~t)
look white and have little or no red or blue showing. Crosses that
are not aligned show red or blue shades beyond their edges.
You can scroll up and down through the 9 x 7 field of crosses to
manually converge all portions of the screen.
4, Using the
joystick,
move the L II to surround a cross that you want
to adjust. Press ,\d
f?. The L Ii changes to
red.
!;> If the cross that

has red edges, move the joystick
until the oxi
image is replaced with a white cross. Once you have
Pinished this (or the cross does not have red edges), press 0. The

6 Ii the cross you selected has blue edges, move the joystick -tmtil

image is replaced with a white cross. Once you have
L-'inished this, press jc$. The II i cl-ranges to yellow again.
',y Repeat steps 4. to 6 to adjust other crosses. Wltel~ finished, press
IVKNIJ to exit the Setup Menu.
