Disconnecting or connecting USB devices may sometimes cause loss of
functionality in the Ulead applications. If this occurs, close all Ulead applications,
and restart them.
My Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor sometimes fails to respond.
Some operations, including finalizing captures, sensing DVD media inserted in a
DVD writer drive, and burning DVD images, can take a long time while operating
normally, without providing a visual indication of progress.
However, when this is not the case, there are several possible reasons why the
Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor hardware, drivers and Ulead applications may not be
sensing each other and handshaking correctly. Do the following:
1.
Exit the Ulead application.
2.
Remove the USB connection between your Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor and
computer.
3.
Remove, then reconnect the power connector on the Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor
(thus resetting the device's firmware). Ensure that the Audigy 2 ZS Video
Editor is turned on.
4.
Connect your Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor and computer via USB.
5.
Start the Ulead application and attempt the operation again.
If the steps above do not improve results:
1.
Exit all applications.
2.
Turn off your computer.
3.
Remove, then reconnect the power connector on the Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor
(thus resetting the device's firmware). Ensure that the Audigy 2 ZS Video
Editor is turned on.
