If you enable these two audio output signals in Creative Surround Mixer, they are
directed through the Line Out connections (where you are most likely to connect
your speakers as well). This can result in an echo because they are not
synchronized, due to different signal paths. Similarly, the video signals to which
they are synchronized will be slightly shifted in time as well.
• During video capture: audio echoed directly through the Audigy 2 ZS Video
Editor from the source signal to the TV will appear first on the Line Outs; audio
generated from the Preview on your computer will lag slightly.
• During Preview or Share operations in VideoStudio, the audio generated from
the PC operation will appear first and the audio that is generated for TV
monitoring and output purposes will lag slightly.
Depending on whether you view the operations of your video project on your
computer or on an attached TV monitor, you can MUTE one of the signals above to
ensure that the audio at the Line Out connections are synchronized appropriately
without echo. You can do this using Creative Surround Mixer or directly within the
Ulead applications.
