Positioning the Paper Supply and Fixed Tower Ventilation

The paper supply and printer tower ventilation extracts the vapors that the paper supply and the fuser
produce when heating the paper. The ventilation consists of a set of four exhaust tubes and an exhaust air
collector. The exhaust air collector outlet must be connected to the outside air or to a ventilation channel.
This has to have a minimum flow of 700 m³/h. In any case where the air flow does not reach the 700
m³/h, install a ventilation system with an assist fan. In Figure 11 on page 20, Outlet 1 is the exhaust from
the air collector to the customer's ventilation system and outlet 2 is the exhaust to the outside.
