Configuring camera settings

10.5.1 Configuring day/night settings

Open the unit's home page. See Section 7.4 Accessing the unit's home page.

In the Configuration menu, select the menu option Camera and the

Day/Night Settings suboption.
The Day/Night Settings dialog appears.

Enter the desired settings in this dialog.

The day/night function offers the options "Auto", "Color" and "Mono" (black/white).
D/N mode
External control can also be used to switch between color and black/white..
AUTO
With this settings, the IP camera switches to color or black/white recording depending
on the brightness of an object's environment. (If the GAIN is set to OFF, the automatic
function is not available.)
MONO
The IP camera remains in black/white mode with this setting.
COLOR
The IP camera remains in color mode with this setting.
MANUAL
In this operating mode, the IP camera is set manually to color or black/white if a
corresponding signal is applied to the terminal (B/W) on the back.
Prerequisite:
D/N level
This setting is only relevant if the AUTO option has been selected for D/N mode.
LOW
The switching point from color to black/white mode occurs at a brightness of 1 lux.
STANDARD
The switching point from color to black/white mode occurs at a brightness of 2 lux.
HIGH
The switching point from color to black/white mode occurs at a brightness of 4 lux.
Prerequisite:
D/N delay
This function is only in effect if the AUTO option has been selected for D/N mode.
This allows the delay time for th day/night function to be set.
Select 0, 5, 10, 15 or 20 seconds as the delay time for day/night switching.
